Our New House - Part 5

We started siding and our porch was excavated and poured this week:o)  The "A" on the top of the house was also completed so we could once and for all move the pump jacks from the front of the house.  This was the week of the big clean out as well on the inside.  All the remnant pieces and other garbage were cleaned out.  Lastly, our front and right-side garage doors were installed.  Moving right along........

Our New House - Part 4

We have windows!!!!! And shingles!!!! It's really starting to look like a house:o) We had our plumbing roughed in....the boys' bathroom even has it's tub.  Everyday I drive up and there is something new done.  It is all so exciting! Our porch is supposed to be started this week and then we will really be able to get a picture of how the house is going to look.  Siding is going to start going up within the next week or two and the upstairs windows are expected to arrive May 4.  Anyway, we're super excited! Owen has already picked which room will be his and I have already started envisioning how my closet will be laid out:o) I just cannot wait to get my hands on this house and make it ours:o) Enjoy the pics! (might be a little difficult to tell what everything is yet, but taking pictures of spaces is hard I'm finding!)

As you can see, we're making progress but we still have a ways to go.  Very excited and can't wait to send you pictures of the finished product.  Will share more next weekend:o)

Our New House - Part 3

We're Under Roof!!!! All but the garage is FINALLY under roof and will hopefully be protected from the rain that Mother Nature is blessing us with every other day or so....seems we can't get a break with the weather.  Several changes were made to the second story once the subfloor was down and we could actually walk the space.  We are in love with the new layout and can't wait to get into the space:o)  Enjoy the new pics!
